LOU SANDERS has swapped the stand-up circuit for the ice rink on the 2024 series of Dancing On Ice.
The comedian has been paired with professional skater Brendyn Hatfield on the ITV show, which is hosted by Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern.

Lou Sanders is a stand-up comedian, writer and actress.
In late 2023 she was confirmed for the cast of the 2024 series of Dancing Of Ice.
She was born on November 24, 1985 and was raised in Broadstairs, Kent.
Sanders studied at London Metropolitan University and graduated with a degree in Communication and Cultural Studies.

Lou's show Shame Pig was the joint winner of the Comedians' Choice Award for Best Show at the 2018 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The show recounted some of the "shameful" encounters she'd had after she had been drinking.
Lou wrote the successful show following her decision to go sober on January 1, 2017.

Speaking to the about Shame Pig, the comedian said: "It's about owning your shame.
"I think I was damaged. I reached a few rock bottoms but now I feel happy and grounded and immensely grateful.
"If you tell someone your secrets you don't feel so bad. We are all human, we've all done despicable things.
"If you haven't been amassing embarrassment you've not been taking enough risks in life.”
Speaking about ditching the drink, Lou added to the outlet: "The benefits keep on coming.
"My memory was shocking and it is still not good, but it is getting better. I feel like the fog is clearing.
"It's nice to wake up and not have a sense of horror about what I might have done."
The talented star has acted in sitcoms including Aisling Bea's This Way Up and Karl Pilkington's Sick of It.
As a writer, she wrote and starred in Elderflower which co-starred Sheila Reid, Tom Rosenthal and Mike Wozniak.
Sanders revealed the news of her casting on Dancing on Ice to Nihal Arthanayake on Radio Five Live in October 2023.
She said at the time: "I'm nervous about cracking my head open, or just bashing the old head.
"I can't afford to lose any more brain cells.
Sanders, who has been partnered up with professional skater Brendyn Hatfield for the series, added: "I'm also worried about my partner picking me up, he's going to have to be very strong and very brave.”

Lou Sanders is known to television viewers for her work on comedy panel shows.
Over the years she has appeared on many beloved programmes, including Mock The Week and 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
In 2019 she was crowned the winner of Taskmaster.
She then returned to the show in 2022 to compete in Champion of Champions II and finished in joint third.
