Now the reports that sources have confirmed it's over, with an insider insisting: "They're better off as friends."

Jess jetted off to the party island of Ibiza where she's been with her girl pals since the weekend.

The couple have made red carpet appearances together in recent weeks, including at the The Sun's Who Cares Wins Awards, where they appeared distant.

They also walked the red carpet together at the National Television Awards, but insiders suggested they were struggling to get on behind the scenes.

They also fuelled rumours the relationship was on the rocks when they went to showbiz events separately.

She was seen partying alone at a swanky bash for fast-fashion brand InThe Style late last month.

Jess and Sammy, who are both 22, were surprise winners of the summer 2023 series of Love Island.

They beat fan favourites Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki to the £50,000 prize.

Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble came in fourth place, while Tyrique Hyde and Ella Thomas landed in third.

Their victory came despite a series of ups and downs on the ITV programme.

Jess' mum raised serious reservations about Sammy's relationship with her daughter, having watched him pursue various other girls on the show.
