ITV has pulled the plug on two of their game shows with celebrity hosts during a scheduling shake-up this autumn.

Both Sitting On A Fortune and Moneyball lasted two seasons before getting axed by the broadcaster.

The first gameshow, hosted by legendary sports commentator Gary Lineker, saw players compete for the chance to land a £100,000 jackpot.

Six players had to choose where they sat in a row of seats positioned in a line.

This would be a big influencing factor in who the winner turned out to be, as only the first player in the line got the chance to answer questions and win the jackpot.

But one wrong answer would see you demoted to the back.

Football legend Ian Wright's Moneyball will also not be returning for a third season.

In that show contestants had to answer questions to earn balls they could release from a machine known as The Launcher.

They would then decide the height the ball was dropped from and wait anxiously to see if the ball would roll onto a cash prize option - or the dreaded danger sign.

Each hopeful had a chance at winning an eye-watering jackpot of up to £250,000.

The titular Moneyball was the last shot players had to select the right drop in the hopes of walking away with all their money, instead of going home with nothing.
