Amy Childs’ ‘aggressive’ ex jailed for stalking woman years after her family’s warning about Take Me Out star
THE ex-boyfriend of Towie legend Amy Childs has been jailed for stalking another woman - after refusing to accept their break up.
Take Me Out contestant David Peters - who dated Amy for a year back in 2013 - will spend two years and eight months in prison.
He's also been handed a ten-year restraining order, stopping him contacting his former partner, who he subjected to coercive and controlling behaviour. Her identity has been protected.
Now The Sun can reveal Amy's family warned her about Peters a decade ago during their turbulent relationship.
A source told us: “David controlled Amy during their relationship.
"He was aggressive, angry and had issues with alcohol.

“The longer they were together, the more possessive he became.
"He once screamed at her in front of people and would always put her down."
Amy broke up with David in May 2013 after her Towie co-star and former boyfriend Kirk Norcross confessed his undying love for her.
It was a relief to Amy's loved ones, with our source adding: "Her friends and family always knew there was something dark about him even back then. He was horrible.”

Peters, 37, was caught on camera breaking into his former partner's home - and was even found hiding in her daughter's bed.
He also called her repeatedly, sat outside her house overnight, and tracked her car.
She was forced to buy a new car and change her appearance.
In her impact statement the victim said: “David made it clear that I had nothing and would have nothing but him and he was the only one I could rely on…”
“He would go through social media and pick out comments I wrote years ago questioning me asking who they were and why I was commenting things on their posts…”
“No matter what I said it was the wrong answer, and David only hears what David wants to hear…Every day was a new argument…”
“He would wear me down so much that I didn’t even recognise myself…when I was with David, I stopped being me.”
A spokesman for Amy Childs did not wish to comment.
