Love Island winner reveals he’s going back to his ‘normal job’ despite £50k show prize
LOVE Island winner Kai Fagan might have been thrown into the celebrity lifestyle - with the £50,000 cash prize - but he's planning to go back to his old job.
Star Kai, who was a teacher prior to the show, expressed a desire to return to teaching and complete his training.
Kai revealed on his Instagram story that going back into the profession was still on the cards.
He said: "Teaching is an unbelievably rewarding profession that doesn't always get the recognition it deserves for the impact it has.
"It's always been my intention to complete my ECT year and I'm hoping this is something i can still do in the future.
"This years been a hectic year where I've experienced things I could only dream of and I'm so grateful for. ❤️

"So I have just been living in the moment trying to make the most out of every experience. It's not all the time a lad from an estate in Manchester gets to experience some of these things.
"But when I think of my future, I think of teaching and coaching kids."
The 25-year-old rose to fame after appearing on the UK's hit show Love Island as an original cast member.
During a segment on the show, Casa Amor, Kai met bombshell Sanam Harrinanan and the pair soon became fan favourites.
They won Series 9 with an astounding 44 percent of the overall vote.
Reality TV isn't yet over for Kai, Channel 4 have brought the pair on board for a fresh reality show hosted by former Love Islander, Chloe Burrows.
This show features a guest prankster teaming up with Chloe to create chaos for a regular young couple who initially think they're participating in a straightforward baby care challenge with an entirely typical doll.
