US megastar joins cast of Peppa Pig – and her character’s name is perfect
A US megastar has joined the cast of Peppa Pig – and her character’s name is perfect.
Katy Perry, 38, will be joining for a special anniversary show and will guest star in an upcoming episode.
The beauty is set to take part in the Peppa Pig Wedding Party Special, which is a three-part episode premiering in Spring 2024.
And that’s not all, with the hitmaker playing a brand new character named Ms Leopard – a dressmaker voiced by Katy.
Katy, who is known to be a Peppa Pig fan, will join the show as it celebrates its 20th anniversary next year.

Of course Katy has a hit song named Roar, making her character name of Ms Leopard very fitting indeed.
The star’s character helps Peppa and her pals prepare for Mr Bull and Mrs Cow’s wedding, after they surprise everyone with the news.
But amongst all the excitement and handing out their wedding announcements, they only have one day to prep and plan.

Peppa Pig launched on our screens back in 2004 and has become a household staple being broadcast in more than 180 territories and in 40 different languages.
In 2021, it was announced that the popular kids’ TV show has been renewed until at least 2027.
