Inside Soap Awards 2023: Coronation Street’s Tina O’Brien and EastEnders’ Danielle Harold lead red carpet glam
EASTENDERS star Danielle Harold oozed glamour tonight as she walked the red carpet at the Inside Soap Awards 2023.
The actress, who played Lola Pearce in the BBC1 soap, shunned a traditional gown in favour of an eye-popping white trouser suit.
Danielle’s tailored jacket featured stud embellishments down the arms and she wore a coordinating bralette underneath.
Once inside, the soap star scooped the awards for both Best Actress and Best Storyline following her harrowing cancer storyline in EastEnders.
Coronation Street‘s Lucy Fallon, who is best known for playing Bethany Platt, meanwhile sizzled in a strapless red dress and matching heels.
The mum-of-one, 27, looked gorgeous as she posed up a storm on the red carpet at London’s Salsa!.
Lucy’s on-screen mum, Tina O’Brien, also showed off her slender legs in a short dress.
The 40-year-old opted for a gorgeous baby pink frock with elaborate ruffle detail, making her look worlds away from her soap character Sarah Platt.
Also turning heads on the red carpet was Strictly Come Dancing star Katya Jones.
There to support her Strictly partner, Casualty‘s Nigel Harman, she wowed in a stunning asymmetrical gown in deep gold.
Giving waiting photographers a wave of her flowing pleated skirt, Katya stunned while the cameras snapped away.
Corrie’s Charlotte Jordan also chose to wear tailored trousers to the glitzy event, showing off her slender frame with a coordinating crop top.
The actress, who plays Gaby Grant, wore her hair down and slicked back and placed her hand in her pocket on the red carpet.
Charlotte’s co-star Elle Mulvaney – aka Amy Barlow – chose a monochrome look, with a black mini dress and silver sparkly peep-toe heels.
Meanwhile, it was a huge night for Channique Sterling Brown, who wore a satin black trouser suit with plunging neckline.
Channieque has played Dee Dee Bailey in Corrie since last year and walked away with the gong for Best Newcomer.
The lads scrubbed up rather nicely, too.
While EastEnders’ Jamie Borthwick and Max Bowden kept things casual in smart T-shirts and trousers, Corrie’s Ryan Prescott and Emmerdale’s Joshua Richards plumped for smart suits.
There were 15 awards up for grabs at the Inside Soap Awards 2023, with EastEnders scooping six of them.
