EMMERDALE fans have been left stunned after one resident received a shock marriage proposal.
Tonight's episode saw Chloe Harris confide in her sister Amy that she might be pregnant again, after spotting the same symptoms she had when she was pregnant with baby son, Reuben.
Amy asked if Chloe and partner Mackenzie Boyd had been using any protection in bed since having Reuben earlier this year, and a sheepish Chloe admitted they had thought the fact she is breastfeeding their son was enough to protect them against another pregnancy.
Chloe said she would order a pregnancy test online so she could find out for sure, but later as she tried to do so on her mobile phone, Mackenzie walked in and saw it.
As they stood in their living room facing one another, Chloe explained she might not be, but Mackenzie was delighted at the prospect.
He told his stunned girlfriend: "Wow! Oh this is great, this is great! Don't you think?"

Chloe broached that it might be too soon but taking her hands, he replied: "They're going to be a year apart, they're going to be best mates.
"I get to experience everything I missed out on with Reuben, I get to do the names, I get to do the scans, oh my God I can do the nursery."
As he rambled on about having another son, Chloe checked he was really OK about it and he said: "Absolutely, I get to make up for the mistakes that I made, we're going to be a proper little family."
He suddenly got an idea and said: "Oh and if we're going to do the whole life changing announcements, maybe I should do one of my own.

"If we're going to do the 2.4 kids and a Volvo then maybe I should stick a ring on it."
A shocked Chloe said: "Last time I checked you were still kind of married."
Referring to wife Charity Dingle, who he tied the knot with earlier this year before Chloe's pregnancy was revealed and they split up, Mack said: "Don't worry about that, that's not forever.
"Just say you'll marry me when I can make good my promise, please."
Chloe said "yes" and the pair shared a kiss before the credits rolled.
But Emmerdale viewers were quick to take to X - formerly Twitter - to discuss the sudden proposal and baby news.
One wrote: "Aw lovely. Made up for them."
Another disagreed, guessing: "Of course Chloe is not pregnant again. Mac jumping the gun."
