MAFS UK’s Ella hits back at ‘transphobic’ trolls in make-up free video after row with husband and secret struggle
MARRIED At First Sight UK star Ella Morgan has hit back at cruel trolls after being attacked online following her show debut.
She is the first Trans bride to join the cast and said her family have been struggling to deal with the level of abuse she has received on social media.

Ella - who tied the knot with Nathanial on the Channel 4 show - went make-up free for an emotional chat with fans, just days after finding fame on the reality series with husband Nathanial.
She said: "I don’t read the comments because of the transphobia.
"I’m used to it by now but it’s not fair on my family and my friends.
"They still want to support me."

"I just found today a little bit hard and I’m going to be real with you guys, so I’ve just taken a step back.
"But I wanna say thank you and you’ve got me through a bit of a tough day. "
"I’m not perfect, but I never claim to be perfect but just stick with me, it gets easier!"
Ella is a 29-year-old clinic consultant from Weston-super-Mare who is also a carer for her elderly nan.

When it was first announced that Ella was part of the MAFS line-up there was some speculation among fans that her future groom might not find out about her transition until after they tied the knot.
This is because the whole point of MAFS is that you don’t know anything about your partner before you are married.
But Ella has put those theories to rest and confirmed that her husband was informed the day before their wedding.
Speaking to , she explained: “Because it was the first time Channel 4 had ever done something like this, I agreed along with them that once they’d found me a match my husband was made aware that I was trans prior to the wedding.
“He was aware that I was trans and I had transitioned but he didn’t know anything else about me.”
A spokesperson for Channel 4 confirmed to Newsbeat that Ella’s groom was told “to ensure fully informed consent,” and he was happy to go ahead with the wedding.
They added: “In all other ways, the integrity of the format was preserved.
“Our priority during matchmaking is to protect the wellbeing of the cast and create compatible matches, based on a detailed assessment of individual preferences, as part of an in-depth, careful matchmaking process.”
Fans had high hopes for Ella and Nathanial however they have already suffered a series of bust ups in week one.

Although they initially seemed to be getting on, fans watched as they got into a furious bust-up during their honeymoon.
Now it's been reported that Ella cheated on Nathanial - who identifies as pansexual - with another groom in the series.
