ALISON Hammond has shared the very odd place she carried a tasting spoon on Bake Off in a funny admission.
The popular show returns for its 14th season with a new co-host — The This Morning star will be joining.
Alison has landed the coveted role of Matt Lucas' replacement.
Being a former contestant herself, the TV personality revealed that as soon as you get into the tent, the nerves get the best of you.
Alison admitted that she get's so "terrified" that she becomes"very excitable" and starts eating a lot of cake.
She told The Sun's TV Mag: " I also become very over the top in the amount of cake I eat, because I'm just so excited to see the cake and to taste the cake."

The hilarious host even had a few tricks up her sleeve - one of them was to hide her spoon in a very unusual place.
The beloved TV presenter admitted that she hid her spoon in her "bra" because it was more convenient than looking for one.
Alison said: "I did carry a spoon in my bra in one episode because it
was just easier than trying to find a spoon! My spoon was huge, though - it was a ladle."
It comes after Alison ran off with a contestant's cake during the full length trailer for the new series.

The popular This Morning host took to Instagram to provide a glimpse of what fans may expect to see in the new season of the baking show.
The showcased several new series teases, as well as a humorous scene in which Alison runs away with a contestant's cake.
"I'll take two of those please. Thank you," Alison says as she giggles and speeds away with the small sponge cakes in her hand.
The Great British Bake Off starts on Tuesday, September 26 at 8pm on Channel 4. TV Mag is available for free, every Saturday, only in The Sun.
