BBC Breakfast viewers claim ‘we’ve never seen you like that’ as Naga Munchetty shows a very different side to herself

BBC BREAKFAST host Naga Munchetty lost it on live TV today after a report showing a man being hit in the head by a fast flying pigeon.

The seasoned journalist and anchor, 48, co-hosted the flagship show alongside Ben Thompson.

And the pair's normal composure couldn't survive the hilarious pigeon attack.

They explained how Michael Speirs was walking to the shops in his home town Nottingham when a pigeon flew straight into his head.

The bizarre incident was caught on CCTV and as it was showed Naga was left in stitches as Ben laughed alongside her.

Thankfully the pigeon appeared uninjured following the collision, but the clip had Naga in stitches of laughter.

She couldn't contain her giggles as she said: "I'm sweating. It's like when you watch a video and know you're not supposed to laugh but it often makes you laugh even more."

Ben added: "And it's the way the pigeon sort of comes through and sorters off, it's quite happy."

Naga also reassured viewers the pigeon was "absolutely fine" as the hilarious clip played once again.

Viewers at home were loving the more relaxed side to Naga, saying they had 'never seen her like that before'.

Taking to social media, one fan said: "I've been sitting here crying! Naga's giggling is hilarious."

A second wrote: "Aww Naga's laugh is amazing."

"That clip of pigeon was so funny not seen u laugh like that before on TV was really nice," said a third viewer.

While a fourth commented: "It was funny and got me off to a good start for the day thanks Naga for the giggles."

Once again usual presenter Charlie Stayt was missing from the red sofa, with no explanation given by bosses.
