EMMERDALE has finally revealed Gail Loman’s huge secret - and it’s going to devastate Ryan Stocks.

The barmaid - who is played by actress Rachael Gill-Davis in the ITV soap - has been secretly hiding the existence of the couple’s son in a bombshell twist.

Gail received a mystery phone call last night and agreed to meet the caller tonight.

Having pretended to need an emergency dental appointment, Gail slipped out to meet the mystery woman.

“This is weird for the both of us,” Gail said as she met the woman, Sophie.

“You’re not even meant to know who I am, you shouldn’t even have my number.”

Sophie told her: “I used social media to track you down. I know it breaks all the rules, all the laws, I had no choice. I had to find you.

“It just all happened so fast. He was only diagnosed a few weeks ago - a rare type of leukaemia. It’s just so unfair, he’s only 13.”

Gail told her: “I’m really sorry that he’s ill.”

Sophie then revealed what she needed from Gail: “The prognosis is good if he gets a transplant - bone marrow. But it needs to be soon. I just found out that I’m not suitable.”

“You want me to do it?” said Gail. “And he won’t pull through without it? I gave birth to him, didn’t I? I’ve got to be a match.:

Gail agreed to lie about them being in touch to keep the secret but couldn’t help but ask after the son she gave up.

And then another bombshell was revealed - that Ryan is the kid’s father.

Gail convinced Sophie to not track Ryan down yet - not letting on that she very well knows where he is and she agreed to attend the hospital for testing tomorrow.

Fans are in shock at the secret child bombshell but have accused the soap of repeating old storylines with secret children coming out of the woodwork.
