Emmerdale fans demand to know where ‘missing’ character is after she disappears from the village

DRAMA continues to unfold on our screens as many Dales residents face changes and mishaps.

However, eagle-eyed Emmerdale viewers couldn't help but notice one character has been missing for almost a month.

Victoria Sugden made a huge mistake this week when Jacob Gallagher suffered from a massive allergic reaction when taking a bite in the food at The Hide.

The lad then shocked the chef by making it clear he had developed feelings towards her.

Moreover, her former partner David Metcalfe cut her some slack, unlike Leyla Harding who vowed revenge on Victoria for putting Jacob's life in danger.

But despite her proximity to Victoria, one female character has missed out on this week's events.

In fact, one fan of the ITV soap noticed that this same resident has gone AWOL less than a month ago.

Indeed, Victoria Sugden lives in Keepers Cottage with Amy Wyatt but, surprisingly, the character played by Natalie Ann Jamieson is nowhere to be seen this week while her pal is at the centre of all the action.

"Sad to report that Amy who is Kyle's Mum has been missing from the village of Emmerdale for well over a month", the viewer wrote on a .

"No one seems to have realised she has gone missing, especially Victoria who shares a house with her but does not seem the least bit concerned."

According to her on Wikipedia, as another soap fan pointed out, Amy's last appearance was on August 24, 2023.

This second viewer then added that another villager had been missing from the show for much longer than Amy.

"Also, Arthur's last appearance was 14th August", they commented.

This led another handful of forum users to call out Zak Dingle star Steve Halliwell for his own absence.

"Obviously they all have to keep going to 'see Debbie' on a shift basis. She must need a hell of a lot of support up there with the whole cast having to visit for a month at a time", a third soap fan quipped.

One viewer responded with: "Especially Zac - who clearly isn't very well (the actor). But seems to manage to make Scotland back and forth but won't stand up in the pub."

Earlier this year, Zak' health became a cause for concern but he's remained on the side-lines ever since.

Arthur, on the other hand, was mainly seen as his first ever boyfriend Marshall Hamston waved goodbye to the eponymous village.

Finally, spoilers for next week have confirmed that Amy Wyatt will be back on our screens as her sister Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) lets her know she could be pregnant again.
