Stacey Solomon cruelly mum-shamed as she reveals Halloween hack that her kids adore

STACEY Solomon has been cruelly mum-shamed for her latest spook-tacular Halloween hack.

The Loose Women panelist, 33 - who is a favourite with Instagram followers for her savvy home improvements and crafts - recently showcased her "misty cauldron" design.

Stacey was accompanied by son Rex, four - who she shares with husband Joe Swash, 41 - as they created the misty treat which "makes the whole room small amazing too."

The former X Factor star pulled out a black Halloween trick and treat bucket along with some clear plastic baubles used at Christmas-time.

She added an air freshener diffuser into the bottom of the pot and flicked it on, before covering it with the balls.

The mum-of-five dubbed her creation the "DIY Misty Cauldron" and was eager to explain the detail to fans in her caption.

She wrote: "Make a misty cauldron with me & Rexy.

"I saw a few people making cauldrons & I loved them. So we decided to make a misty version with a diffuser.

"I thought it looked sooooo cool! & Rex LOVED it! I know it’s only September but lots of you messaged me & asked me to share some fun crafts early to be able to make them later on. So here you go.

"Testing them out on reels but if it flops I’ll carry on with them on stories & save to a highlight."

Yet trolls were quickly out in force, with one writing: "This is great but what happens to all the plastic one Halloween is over?"

One fan was quick to write: "Bore off," as one argued: "Re-used every Halloween. Are you deliberately trying to look for a way of having a dig about the use of plastics?

"EVERYONE uses plastic whether they'd like to or not. Stop trying to be the Boring Police by trying to ruin Halloween."

One follower pointed out some of the items had already been used before and added: "Or re-used for something else. These are already recycled Xmas baubles.";

A fan simply added: "Another idea that’s boss."

Stacey has been a target for mum-shamers in the past.

The star shares youngest children Rex, Rose, one, and Belle who was born in February with Joe.

Her boys Zachary, 15, and 11-year-old Leighton are from previous relationships.

Recently, online bullies took fire at her decision to take her kids on a luxury holiday.

She was also called out after fans spotted "something missing" from her vacation snaps.

Stacey was also called out for the outfit choices for her brood.
