BBC Breakfast's Nina Warhurst has jetted off on a fun girls trip - and she's given fans a look into the holiday - with "level 10 hangovers", a severe storm and baby Nancy being "spoiled rotten".
Fans have been able to view all of the action as the news journalist has gone on a well-deserved vacation with her pals.
Taking to Instagram, Nina penned: "Met these girls 31 years ago (!) First week of convent high school in cream tights and flammable blazers. This weekend they invited a new tiny Sister in to the Order."
"What fun we had. Recalling nun-baiting & spreading rumours about swallowed footwear, singing Brandy & Monica & the Stone Roses, watching Ants lift stuff on YouTube (“ants are well mad”), crying laughing over a 1995 interform hockey match injustice, reciting the landline number of a lad we all fancied in 1994, discussing tax returns…. and a new game introduced by “I bet we won’t make it to each other’s funerals Cheery."
"We survived a severe storm, which meant we didn’t get to eat our paella. And *one of us* survived a level 10 hangover. The baby was spoiled rotten with cuddles and my faith in having post-Covid easy fun was restored… and my welcome committee coming home made my heart explode A top trip.
"Welcome to the sisterhood Nance. It’s a ride. The best one(Oooo thanks also to whoever recommended Santa Pola, Alicante on here. I’m so sorry I can’t find the message.. but it was perfect esp as we were all flying from different cities) xxx."
