Michelle Keegan reveals Brassic series 5 filming chaos as cast are forced off set in Manchester

MICHELLE Keegan has revealed how the Brassic cast was forced to stop filming the Sky series due to extreme bad weather.

With one week left until the first episode of the new season premiers, the cast has been dealing with a huge setback behind the scenes as they prepare for the Christmas special.

While sporting a red puffer jacket with black, blue and white stripes, Michelle zoomed into her dolled-up face consisting of massacre, winged eyeliner, nude lipstick and flawless skin with blush.

Her brown locks flowed effortlessly behind her ears as she placed one of her fingers under her plump pout while lying down and posing for the Instagram story.

She penned the post: "Waiting for the rain to stop in Manchester… never gonna happen."

Last week, the former Corrie star posted a picture of the official poster for Brassic 5 and captioned the post, "Together they're legends. New season of Brassic coming soon. September 28."

Her 6.7 million followers were elated with the news and expressed their excitement, while others questioned why Dylan, played by Damien Molony, was not on the poster.

One person wrote: "F***ing love Brassic. It's so funny."

A second said: "Absolutely love this show…. Best on TV."

A third added: "Out on my birthday, I cannot wait!! Lil birthday treat, haha."

A fourth quizzed: "Where's Dylan?"

A fifth echoed: "No Dylan in this photo!"

The 36-year-old plays Erin Croft in the hit Sky Max original comedy, which follows the life of Vinnie O'Neill (Joseph Gilgun) and his five friends, including Michelle's single mum character.

The group of friends are a typical trouble-making Asbo clan that tries to get by in the fictional town of Hawley but often resorts to petty crime.

Dylan(Damien Molony), who is best friends with Vinnie and also Erin's partner, was brutally kidnapped and bundled into the boot of a car by hired goons in season 4.

In an interview with Radio Times earlier this month, Damien opened up about his departure from the show.

He explained: "They were really exciting scenes to film, no doubt, but also emotional for me.

"Because I've had four incredible years of, essentially, laughing and to suddenly shoot these scenes on my own, without the gang... there were a couple of moments that night where I was like: 'This is the end."

The star also revealed that this is not entirely the end for his character, who might return 'a little bit' in the upcoming series.

Brassic will premiere on Sky Max on September 28.
