Strictly star Adam Thomas’ wife Caroline says it’s been ‘stressful’ not having him around amid show training
STRICTLY Come Dancing star Adam Thomas’ wife Caroline has said it has been “stressful” not having him around, amid show training.
Ex-Emmerdale star Adam, 35, married Caroline in August 2017 and they share two children together – Teddy, nine, and daughter Elsie, five.
And Adam’s schedule just got a lot busier with Strictly training, after he was announced for the new series.
Speaking on behalf of Caroline told The Sun it has been “stressful” having to solo-parent while he’s away.
She said: “I do worry about my little ones going back this September, with Adam being super busy with work at the moment.
“The most stressful part is making sure you’re organised in terms of uniform, PE kit, stationary, even down to the after-school activities like football, dancing, and swimming! It’s all so time-consuming, and by the time homework is done in the evening, there’s not much time left to prepare tea.

“With Adam working in this busy period, I’m so lucky to have the support of my friends and family. I try to keep our routine as simple as possible so we can spend quality time with him when he comes home.”
The pair admitted they’d normally split the back-to-school to-do list, but with Adam away training, the responsibility has been left with Caroline.
Adam was recently announced to be dancing with Strictly pro Luba Mushtuk.
The actor was forced to hit back after facing ‘fix’ fears, given wife Caroline is a trained dancer who runs her own dance school.

Adam was quick to stress that he has no advantage in the competition.
While he did not address his wife and her experience directly, he made a point of how little he knows about dancing.
Taking to Instagram, he said: "Well the news is finally out. Guys, I do not know what I have gotten myself into as I cannot dance to save my life as you'll probably find out sooner or later."
Adam was also told by doctors he has rheumatoid arthritis, which has been causing "a lot of pain" in his limbs and joints.
The Waterloo Road star broke the news of his diagnosis two days after he was confirmed to be taking part in this year's Strictly.
Adam says that he is "still learning" about the chronic illness but signed up to Strictly Come Dancing to help get his body moving again.
Adam and his wife have partnered up with to help with dinnertimes amid Adam’s busy schedule.
Caroline explained: “I teamed up with Birds Eye to remind people it’s okay to rely on your freezer! Teddy and Elsie love Birds Eye Fish Fingers, Potato Waffles, and Peas. It’s so quick and easy whilst still being nutritious, what more could a parent wish for?!”
