Eamonn Holmes to marry Coronation Street legend after decade-long engagement
EAMONN Holmes is set to marry a Coronation Street legend after a decade-long engagement.
The TV presenter has been happily married to wife Ruth Langsford since 2010.
Now Eamonn, 63, is playing a big part in another wedding, this time for his close pal Charlie Lawson.
Charlie, 63, is best known for his role as Jim McDonald in Coronation Street, and has been engaged to his fiancee Debbie Stanley for more than a decade.
But the couple are finally tying the knot, and Eamonn will be officiating the ceremony.
Speaking on Tuesday's GB News, Eamonn discussed Ed Sheeran gatecrashing a wedding in Las Vegas.

He added: "This is a window into my life. I can’t go to a hotel where someone doesn’t come up and tap me on the shoulder and say 'My daughter’s getting married in the next room, you wouldn’t go in and see them?'.
"I got a phone call from a dear friend two weeks ago whose wedding I was going to and he said to me 'We don’t just want you to go to the wedding, we want you to conduct the ceremony'.
"So, I’ve buried George Best, right? So his family phoned me and said 'We don’t want a priest or anything but we want you to do George’s funeral ceremony'.
"And now I’m going to marry Charlie Lawson – Jim McDonald from Coronation Street. So there you are. I should maybe become some sort of preacher."

His comments came the same day he gave fans an update on his chronic back pain.
The journalist opened up about how he's been while he was discussing the NHS on the show.
He said: "See, I always thought I'd have liked to have been a doctor. I never thought I was smart enough really to do it.
"I realise now because I get so many consultations with so many people about what's wrong with me.
"And do you know what? "Nobody knows! It's not joined up."
