SUSANNA Reid has returned to Good Morning Britain after falling ill last week.
The 52-year-old show legend was forced to miss Wednesday's episode of the ITV show last week after losing her voice at the National Television Awards.
The following day co-host Ed Balls revealed Susanna turned up for work but was told she wasn't going on air after producers seemingly heard her croaking in her dressing room.
As Charlotte Hawkins stepped in for Susanna at the last minute, Ed expressed his surprise at the change of presenter.
He said: "I was about to say, you know, I came into the studio as usual about 4.30am.
"Walked past Susanna Reid's dressing room. There was Susanna, as always, in her white dressing gown, getting ready for the show to come. This feels like a bit of a change!"

She was also told to skip Monday's show and told her Instagram followers ahead of the programme: "Sorry I won't be with you in the morning. Vocal chords affected by mild infection (not [Covid]), that I didn't even realise I had.
"Need to rest them a little longer."
Today, Susanna returned to Good Morning Britain and told viewers that her voice had completely gone on Saturday night.
She said after her voice had recovered: "I think I sound a bit like Holly (Willoughby).

"If everyone stayed off when they had the mild sniffles then work wouldn't get done."
Susanna recently returned from her summer break with a dramatic look - a sleek but wavy bob complete with blonde highlights.
Debuting the new look, Susanna told her co-host she'd had "a few inches chopped off", before adding: "I feel a little lighter."
GMB viewers couldn't get enough of her stunning transformation, as hundreds flooded her social media accounts with compliments.
"What an absolute fox, you look fabulous," one wrote, while another fan said: "Your hair is so trendy ? it really suits you."
