David Walliams’ TV comeback revealed as he bags hosting role on beloved ITV show
DAVID WALLIAMS is returning to television with a major hosting role on a popular ITV show.
In 2022 the comedian quit the show after it was revealed that he made a string of offensive comments about two contestants.
David was replaced on Britain's Got Talent by Bruno Tonioli earlier this year.
He referred to an older performer as a "c***" three times off camera to his fellow judges following an unsuccessful audition.
Walliams also made sexually explicit comments about a female contestant after she had walked off stage.
But now, the comedy personality is set to return to screens with a brand new show.

David is set to continue his role as the narrator on ITV classic show It'll Be Alright On The Night.
The new episodes will air on the channel later this year, marking the show's 46th year on the air.
According to , more episodes are also expected to be produced and air next year.
David replaced Griff Rhys Jones in 2018 after ratings fell to 2.8million, prompting bosses for a revamp.
