Huge EastEnders star in talks to appear on I’m A Celebrity
EASTENDERS’ Danielle Harold is in talks to appear on I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here!, the Sun on Sunday can reveal.
The 31-year-old is hot property after winning the Serial Drama Performance gong at the National Television Awards.
Fans were gripped as her character, Lola Pearce, succumbed to brain cancer in May.
A telly source said: “Danielle is at the height of her career and in demand after her moving storyline on EastEnders, but she’s really caught the eye of ITV bosses to appear in the upcoming series of the jungle.
“As well as being a talented actress with a huge fanbase, Danielle has a fun personality with a wicked sense of humour, which makes her the ideal campmate for the show.
“It could propel her into superstardom at an exciting time in her acting journey.

“Conversations are under way and producers are trying to lure her with a lucrative deal.”
Since leaving the BBC1 soap after 12 years, Danielle has also won Best Leading Performer at the British Soap Awards and taken part in Channel 4 show Celebrity Hunted.
She was 18 when she joined EastEnders in 2011 as part of the Mitchell family.
But she spent her final year on the soap knowing she was leaving Albert Square after executive producer Chris Clenshaw told her about Lola’s hard-hitting storyline.

The show worked closely with Brain Tumour Research and Macmillan Cancer Support to ensure every element was as true to life as possible.
Discussing her last few weeks on set, she said: “It was hard to prepare for those final scenes. The medical advisors are there, step-by-step, helping me.
“I’ve been wearing bigger clothes to give the illusion of losing weight.
“It’s hard looking at yourself, seeing yourself looking so ill. But it has to be real.”
And last year, Danielle spoke about her ambitions to perform in the US, saying: “If Hollywood wants to call, I’m here. I’d love to go to LA for pilot season.”
The next I’m A Celeb series in Australia is due in November, with This Morning host Josie Gibson, 38, also in the frame to take part.
ITV said: “Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity are speculation.”
