Furious Love Island fans slam ITV for ‘snubbing’ couple at NTAs
LOVE Island fans were left stunned after a show-winning couple were seemingly snubbed by ITV at the National Television Awards.
Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan, who won the winter edition of the programme this year, attended the ceremony as guests of tanning brand Fake Bake.
Rather than sitting on the floor among the nominees, which included Love Island host Maya Jama and the cast of the summer season, the duo watched from the side of the arena.
While it didn't dim their experience, fans of the couple felt they had earned the right to sit in the thick of the action.
One fan wrote: "ITV do better!!!"
Another said: "You 2 should have been invited to the awards by ITV though since you won LI this year. Respect to the company that did show a pair of winners deserved love! Anyway, you 2 are amazing and blessed continue to win with each other."

A third called them: "A real life Disney prince and princess."
They dressed to impress nonetheless, with Kai wearing a three-piece suit and Sanam stunning in a satin red dress.
They cosied up for photos before the ceremony got underway, and Kai shared on Instagram: "NTAs with this absolute spice. Honestly she gets me so gassed every time I see her. Thank you to @fakebake_uk for the invite."
Sanam wrote: "Major pinch me moment. I cannot even believe I am here today surrounded by so much talent. It’s an actual dream and it’s because of every single one of you who supported me and Kai! I will forever be grateful."
