Maya Jama arrives late to NTAs and dodges questions about Stormzy romance as she looks incredible in black dress

MAYA Jama arrived late to tonight's NTAs before dodging questions about rekindling her romance with Stormzy.

Presenter Maya, 29, who put on a stunning display in a busty black dress, didn't even get to walk the red carpet as her cab arrived so far behind schedule - but she had warned fans earlier on Instagram.

Thankfully, she didn't miss her big hosting gig alongside supermodel Leomie Anderson, 30, who flashed her legs in her own black dress.

Although the pair have never previously worked together, Leomie recently replaced Maya as the host of BBC's Glow Up.

The girls got behind the mic to announce EastEnders' actor Bobby Brazier as the Rising Star winner.

It's no wonder Maya was asked all about her rapper boyfriend, since The Sun recently revealed the pair are in talks with fashion bible Vogue to give their first joint interview since getting back together.

They will also make their red carpet debut at a high-profile event for the magazine in less than a fortnight.

A source said: “Maya and Stormzy have captured the public’s attention after they got back together.

"It is very much a modern-day fairytale and British Vogue would love to get them to pose together for a cover.

“This would be Maya and Stormzy’s chance to talk about how, and why, they came back together following their split.

“It’s early days but talks are ongoing and Maya and Stormzy would definitely be interested.”

Insiders said they would pose together for the first time on a red carpet at the Vogue World fashion show on September 14, held at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London’s West End.

A source said: “Stormzy has officially invited Maya to join him on the red carpet at Vogue World later this month.

“After a year of speculation, it will be the first time they have confirmed they are back together once more so it will really be a moment.

"Maya has already contacted a number of couture brands to help her decide what to wear.”

The Sun revealed last month how Maya and Stormzy had been growing close again during the last year.

They split in 2019 following a four-year romance but began to grow close again after her break-up with Australian basketball player Ben Simmons.

Maya and Ben called off their eight-month engagement in July last year.

She was later spotted with Stormzy at various events, with a source saying the pair had “really clicked again”.

Stormzy has previously admitted his split from Maya was a mistake.
