Countryfile host Anita Rani in shock split from husband of 14 years

COUNTRYFILE host Anita Rani has reportedly split from her husband of 14 years after they “drifted apart”.

The BBC star, 45, and tech company owner Bhupi Rehal tied the knot in 2009 in a Sikh wedding ceremony.

A source told : “It’s really sad but they’ve decided to separate.

“Their hectic schedules over the past couple of years have sadly meant they’ve drifted apart over time.

“They remain on very good terms and wish nothing but the best for one another.”

Anita is one of the most recognisable faces on British TV and Radio.

The star is best known for her work on shows such as Countryfile and her stint on Strictly Come Dancing in 2015.

The news comes days after Anita spoke for the first time about her devastating miscarriage.

Anita said about being in her forties: “I’m much better at self-care and I ask myself more questions about how I want to live my life.

“I’m also more willing to be vulnerable, like talking about the miscarriage I had in 2018.

“Vulnerability used to scare the s*** out of me, but it has been liberating to share my personal story and see the response.”

Rani first got her big break when she started presenting for Channel 5 in 2002.
