CITV produced educational and entertaining programs for children throughout the years, such as Fun House (1989-1999), Art Attack (1990-2007), Bernard's Watch (1997-2005) and Zzzap (1993-2001).

ITV took the beloved channel off air on September 4th after 40 years, but many fans and celebrities have reminisced back on the best shows and actors of that era.

Neil Buchanan became a household name after making many children turn their houses upside down, trying to keep up and create his unique designs.

Many millennials would remember that he presented the educational art show Art Attack from 1990-2007.

Still, shockingly, some are unaware that he also played the booked and busy Smarty Arty from Zzzap.

A fan of the former show was seemingly still bamboozled at the actors' crossover and penned on Twitter: "It still blows my adult brain every time I remember the painter from Zzzap was also Neil Buchanan from Art Attack."

The tweet gained attention from other fans of the show who had only just discovered the truth as one person penned: "'This is an absolute revelation."

Another proclaimed: 'No! It's crazy, I never noticed that."

A third person followed it with: 'Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!'

A fourth added: "It's so obvious now!"

66-year-old Neil told the Metro.co.uk he invited the idea for an Art Art revival.

He said: "Of course I would."

"That would be great fun, as long as I could do it with the people who did it with me before."

"It's funny, actually, because no one's ever asked me that. You've got me thinking about it now,"

"No one has ever said to me, "Would you come back and do it again?" The answer is yes, I would."
