Coronation Street star shows off rarely seen real-life boyfriend in behind the scenes snap

CORONATION Street star Charlotte Jordan has showed off her rarely-seen real-life boyfriend.

The actress, who plays Daisy Midgeley in the ITV soap, shared the sweet snap on social media.

Charlotte, 28, took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday and shared a behind-the-scenes shot of her real life boyfriend Paul.

In the snap, Paul can be seen rehearsing lines with Charlotte's on-screen partner Robert Mallard, who plays Daniel Osbourne.

She penned to the post: " Real bae runs lines with fake bae."

While Paul isn’t an actor, he made a cameo appearance on Coronation Street back in 2020.

He had to step in during a scene during the COVID-19 pandemic while actors had to social distance.

She previously told The Sun: "They roped my boyfriend in because we're shooting socially distanced.

"He's not an actor but he grew up watching Coronation Street.

"It was really fun just to see his little face when he looked at all the sets and stuff. It was very sweet. It was lovely."

Charlotte also revealed that Paul's family are big fans of the soap, and often ask her what will be coming next.

"They’re always asking what’s coming and what’s going on and where a story is going," she told .

"I know I’m not supposed to tell them, but I really want to be their favourite, so I’m doing it. You like Daisy. They think she’s fun. They like a character that’s a little salty."

Before joining the cast of Corrie in 2020, Charlotte was part of the Netflix drama series Free Rein in 2018, where she portrayed Gaby Grant.

She also co-wrote and produced a short film titled Tracks in 2019.
