LOVE Island's Mitchel Taylor and Ella Barnes shocked fans today when they confirmed their romance is over just weeks after leaving the villa.
Mitch, 27, and 23-year-old Ella posted separate statements about the split, with him placing the blame on them living at opposite ends of the country.
But it looks like the signs of trouble in paradise have been there for weeks.
Ella and "Messy" Mitch were caught up with drama from the very start, with her stealing him from Abi Moores after entering the villa as a bombshell.
Despite being dumped from the show just days before the final they seemed to be proving the doubters wrong.
But they last posted each other on Instagram three weeks ago, with each of them sharing the same snap from a Maybelline event.

And last week Mitch and Ella attended We Are FSTVL but - while they happily posed for snaps together at the event - he later posted a solo shot from the day on social media.
The day before Ella announced the break up with a statement on Instagram, Mitch posted a "weird" TikTok video with his mum that divided fans.
In the caption he called his mum the "most important woman" in his life - suggesting the relationship was already over.
And last week Abi appeared to throw a spanner in the works for Ella and Mitch when she claimed he still flirts with her when Ella's not there.
