Netflix confirms fate of beloved drama after series of cancellations

AFTER a spate of cancellations that sparked fury from fans, Netflix has revealed the fate of a legal drama streamers love.

The Lincoln Lawyer is set to be renewed for a third season, and viewers are delighted by the news.

The Netflix show follows the work of a defence lawyer in LA

The drama series about a criminal defence lawyer who works out of his car, a Lincoln Navigator, received a lot of love from Netflix subscribers during the first two seasons.

The show is based on  a  by Michael Connelly called The Fifth Witness, and has been available on the streaming platform since May 2022.

Now fans of the LA based lawyer Mickey Haller can look forward to another 10 episodes featuring his escapades as he aims to get people accused of being criminals a get out of jail free card.

Several fan favourite characters will be returning this season, including Lorna Crane, Mickey's legal aide and ex-wife, and his driver Izzy Letts.

The end of season two saw Mickey headed to the slammer to meet a new client, Julian La Cosse, who has been accused of murder.

The finale ended on a cliffhanger as the defence attorney recognised the body of the dead woman - so it is possible that season three will explore the events that lead up to Giselle's murder.

No matter what client season three decides to delve into the backstory of, fans have taken to social media to share their excitement at the show being renewed for another season.

One person wrote: "Out does the movie in many many ways. Great cast.

"Good story lines. Can't wait for season 3. Awesome. Will keep me paying on Netflix for now."

Another added: "Most anticipated series!"

A third person exclaimed: "Yes!!! I'm watching season 2 and so far so good, I'm glad my show will be back."
