Chesney, 51, was quizzed by show host Greg Davies over some of his craziest fan encounters for the episode, which is due to air today.

Shocking the panel, he revealed that a female fan once broke into his home through a flap installed to let his dogs in and out the house.

In a first look clip from tonight's episode, Simon asks: "I imagine you had some crazy fans back in those times?"

"When it first kicked off, we used to have fans kind of parked up outside the house and everything," Chesney explains.

"One girl jumped over the fence when we weren't in and broke into the house through the dog flap - we weren't in.

"Then about two weeks later she was outside the gates and as I was coming in I was saying hello to the fans.

"She said, 'Can you sign these?' and I was like, 'Yes, sure'. But then I looked at the pictures and was like, 'Wait, that's my f***ing bedroom'."

Asked if he "signed them", Chesney jokes: "Yes, I did, gave them back."

Chesney will appear on the panel tonight alongside show regulars Noel Fielding, Daisy May Cooper and Jamali Maddix.

It comes after show host Greg blamed Britney Spears for one of his failed relationships as he revealed his music preferences.

The comic explained the pop star’s tunes used to be his guilty pleasure, until they caused the end of one romance.

Greg said: “If you were to look at my playlist, you could be forgiven for thinking I am a teenage girl from the 90s.

“I once successfully wooed a girl over a period of months to Oops I Did it Again by Britney Spears.

“I used to give her a lift to work every day and we bonded over the song and eventually got together. It was very much Britney who brought us together.

“The relationship was, of course, doomed. Britney’s fault.”

Never Mind The Buzzcocks airs tonight at 9pm on Sky Max.
