LOVE Island USA is over for another season, and a new couple has been crowned the winner of the reality show.

The fifth season came to an end revealing which two islanders had scooped the $100,000 prize.

After six weeks of love triangles and shocking bombshells the summer Love Island final came to a close.

Modern Family star Sarah Hayland hosted the final episode revealing which couple had been voted favourite to win the cash prize.

In fourth came Carmen and Kenzo, followed by third place with Bergie and Taylor.

Finally second place went to Kassy and Leo, which meant Hannah and Marco were announced winners of Love Island USA Season five.

This season's first contestants included Anna, Destiny, Leonardo, Marco, Victor, Hannah, Kay Kay, Kenan, Kassy, Jasmine and Bergie.

As episodes aired, islanders left the villa giving way to new contestants and couples.

However only four lucky couples made it to the final episode.

Carmen and Kenzo

Carmen Kocourek and Kenzo Nudo made it to the final episode.

The lovebirds were quickly poised to win the show for having a genuine connection, fans said.

Carmen entered the villa on the second day and Kenzo joined the group on the tenth day.

The two formed a bod almost instantly that captivated the audience.

Bergie and Taylor

They didn't have the smoothest romantic journey as the two built other connections.

A challenging time came when Leo built another connection with Johnnie in Casa Amor.

However Leo couldn't deny his feelings for Kassy and both decided to carry their bond until the finale.

Hannah and Marco

Hannah Wright and Marco Donatelli proved to have won the nation's hearts with their love relationship.

Fans fell for the authenticity of their connection from their firsts appearances.

The heartthrobs experienced a bright and long-lasting romance which secured a guaranteed spot in the final.
