Jade Goody’s mum says it’ll be like watching her late daughter when Bobby Brazier performs on Strictly
JADE Goody’s mum Jackiey Budden says it will be like watching her late daughter when Bobby Brazier performs on this year’s Strictly.
Jackiey, 64, told how Bobby, 20, son of TV host Jeff, confided in her “months ago” that he was going on the BBC1 show.
And she was bursting with pride as Jade was a big Strictly fan.
She said: “I was only allowed to talk about it when I saw it in The Sun.
"But I’m over the moon and he’s just stepped in his mum’s shoes — he’s in Jade’s trotters.
“He’s been born to bring Jade back as himself, because he’s the spit of Jade — he’s got his daddy’s head.

“It will be like watching her on telly.”
She is close to EastEnders star Bobby and his brother Freddie, 18, whose mum died of cervical cancer in 2009.
But Bobby’s soap role makes it hard for him to regularly see her at her South London home.
She said: “He has to get up at 5am for EastEnders sometimes, so he’s always on the go. We always text though which is lovely. He likes to keep an eye on his nana, just like Freddie does.”

Jackiey also claims to have played a big part in his career.
She recalled: “He’d been doing his modelling for some time and he said, ‘Nan, do you think I can be an actor?’ I said, ‘I dunno, your mum did all that’. So I said, ‘Ring your agent’ and four days later he was in EastEnders. How mad is that? I hadn’t watched it for 40 years. I don’t miss an episode now.”
