MULTIPLE STRINGS

Coronation Street’s Ryan Connor actor has starred in FOUR rival soaps – but did you spot him?

RYAN Prescott is best known for his role as Ryan Connor in Coronation Street.

He joined the cast of the cobbles in 2018 where he replaced Sol Heras, who in turn was the second actor to play the role.

However, despite his relatively drama free life, Coronation Street was not his first soap opera rodeo.

Ryan, 34, made his acting debut in Emmerdale where he played the role of Flynn Buchanan in 2011.

The actor joined the cast for 12 episodes who was introduced as a love interest for Aaron Dingle (played by Danny Miller).

Even after the short stint, he was shocked by the limelight and he was even stopped by fans for autographs.

After starring in three episodes of ITV's Marchlands, he went onto make a guest appearance in an episode of Holby City in the role of Gavin Ruskin.

This was before the BBC came calling again in 2013, this time for a stint in Doctors as bursary student Liam Slade, a role he would reprise in 2018.

His character started to work at the Mill Health Centre but he later found out about a drug called Quack which he gave to other students.

He was even nominated for villain of the year at the British Soap Awards 2018 for the role.

Gritty roles have always been in his repertoire, especially in medical dramas as he also made a guest appearance in an episode of Casualty.

In 2014 he played the part of Drew Whitmore in an episode named 'In the Name of Love.'

It was four years later where bosses gave him the call in 2018 to star in the Salford-based soap as Ryan Connor.
