Gareth and husband Ollie, 36 - who are Made in Chelsea fan favourites - had appeared on Friday's ITV show to chat about their newborn twins.

They welcomed the tots, who were born via surrogate Bex, prematurely at 31 weeks.

They then revealed they have named their children Apollo Magnus Obi and Cosima Emily Bex and gave their adorable youngsters a taste of live TV on Lorraine.

Apollo cuddled on Gareth's chest while Cosima looked comfy on Ollie, before letting out some wind.

They spoke candidly about their long and often painful journey to becoming fathers, with Gareth saying: "The last time our surrogate went through a miscarriage I thought maybe this isn't going to happen for us."

Talking of Bex, he gushed: "I honestly don't think we could have found anyone better."

As their chat wrapped, Christine told how a pre-recorded interview with popstar Shania Twain would then air.

She asked the pair if they were fans of the You're Still The One hitmaker, to which Ollie proffered how Gareth had met her.

Gareth jumped in and said: "Yes - I ran up to her at the Brits.

"I was a bit p***ed, I can't remember what I said!"

Christine then expertly interjected and said: "Oh - you know, he meant tipsy.

";For anyone at home, we apologise for that," before moving the show on.

Earlier this month, Gareth and Ollie announced their bundles of joy into the world.

The pair: "The babies are here – this is what we've been waiting for. It's this wonderful moment when we know that we're the fathers we always wanted to be.

"The journey makes the end result all the more worthwhile and now they're here, it's the best gift."

Ollie added on instagram: "We are so excited to announce that our beautiful twins are finally here and they are more precious than we could have ever imagined.

"We've captured our journey to this point on our Youtube Channel; Daddy Diaries, for a first glimpse and the excitement leading up to them coming home with us – most importantly, their incredible and unique names that are just perfectly fitting for them both."
