Girl from Good Luck Charlie and popular meme has started high school and people feel ‘so old’ when they see her photo
MIA Talerico, the child star of Good Luck Charlie, has started high school and left fans shocked with her grown-up appearance.
The 14-year-old played Charlie in the popular Disney Channel sitcom from 2010 to 2014 for four seasons.
Mia began playing Charlie when she was just 11 months old and spawned a popular meme with her animated facial expressions.
The actress has remained popular with fans and shared an update on her life on Wednesday.
The teen started ninth grade this week and commemorated the moment with a colorful chalkboard that read “First Day 9th Grad."
Mia looked all grown up in her baggy jeans and black sneakers as she stood in front of a house shaded by palm trees in Santa Barbara.
“First day of school,” she captioned the post.
The Disney star added the hashtags "class of 2027" and "jet lag is real"— a reference to her recent trip to Europe.
Mia's TV mother Leigh-Allyn Baker commented on the post with several crying emojis and wrote: “She’s so big! Mia, you’re beautiful!”
Mia replied: “Thanks Mama Leigh.”

EUROPEAN GETAWAY
Mia's milestone comes a week after she went to Paris with her mom.
The teen shared several snaps from their trip, including a selfie of them by the river Seine.
The actress also visited the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris and wandered through the city's hidden side streets.
“See you again Paris,” Mia captioned the post.

Good Luck Charlie focused on the Duncan family of Denver as they adjusted to the births of their fourth and fifth children, Charlotte "Charlie" and Toby (Logan Moreau).
In each episode, Teddy Duncan added to a video diary that contained advice for Charlie about their family and life as a teenager.
Each video diary ended with Teddy or another family member saying the eponymous phrase, "Good luck, Charlie".
CAST REUNION
Mia reunited with the cast of Good Luck Charlie in 2020 to celebrate the sitcom's 10-year anniversary.
She reflected on her time on the show, saying: "I probably had a really easy role because I just got told most of my lines or didn't have any.
"I think it was really easy because most of the time, it was what happened.
"We just rolled with it, like, in the crawling scene, I just stood up so we just went with it."
After Good Luck Charlie, Mia appeared in the Brat TV series Mani from 2018 to 2022.
