BBC Breakfast presenters: Who are the stars of the flagship programme?
EVERY morning BBC Breakfast wakes up the nation with the top news of the day.
But the Beeb's daily flagship show wouldn't be the same without it's team of trusted news anchors.
Who are the BBC Breakfast presenters?
Sally Nugent
Sally Nugent is one of the the main BBC Breakfast presenters, hosting the show every Monday to Wednesday.
Her first job was at BBC Radio Merseyside before she went on to read the sports news on BBC North West Tonight.
But Sally landed her biggest gig when it was revealed she would replace Louise Minchin as lead BBC Breakfast anchor in 2021..
She was previously known for filling in when the show's main presenters were off.

Jon Kay
Joining Sally for the first three days of the week is Jon Kay.
Following his time working at BBC Bristol and local radio stations, he made the move to London to work as a political reporter and news correspondent for the BBC.
In 2014, Jon reported from Portugal on the investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
He took over from Dan Walker as the main presenter on BBC Breakfast after he quit in 2022 to work for Channel 5 News.

Naga Munchetty
Naga Munchetty takes over from Sally and Jon as one of the BBC Breakfast news anchors from Thursday to Sunday.
The popular presenter has been working for the BBC since 2008 when she joined the Working Lunch Team.
During her years as one of the Beeb's top journalists, Naga has interviewed several high profile politicians including Hillary Clinton, David Cameron, and Tony Blair.
Charlie Stayt
Like Naga, Charlie Stayt does Thursday and Friday, plus the weekend.
He started his career on a commercial radio station in his home town of Gloucester.
Charlie originally joined BBC Breakfast in 2006, and was initially a relief presenter
However, in 2008 he secured his spot as part of the main team of presenters.
Carol Kirkwood
Carol Kirkwood is BBC Breakfast's resident weather presenter, who works Monday to Friday.
In 1996 she joined The Weather Channel, but after it closed down she underwent training with the Met Office, before joining BBC News in April 1998.
Away from BBC Breakfast Carol took part Strictly Come Dancing in 2015, finishing in 10th place.
Nina Warhurst
Nina Warhurst is in charge of delivering the business news every week day.
She joined the BBC in 2010, where she has remained ever since.
Nina started her career at the Beeb working for BBC East Midlands regional news, and later switching to BBC North West.
In October 2020, she got her big break when she was appointed as BBC Breakfast's main business presenter, taking over from Steph McGovern, who moved to Channel 4.
Nina has been on maternity leave from BBC Breakfast since June 2023.
Victoria Valentine
Victoria Valentine works as a relief presenter for BBC Breakfast, when the someone from the main team is off.
But her work at the Beeb doesn't stop there.
Victoria hosts BBC’s morning global news programmes on BBC One, BBC News and BBC World News.

How to watch BBC Breakfast
BBC Breakfast is on air every single day, including weekends.
The show kicks off on BBC one at 6am until 10am Monday to Friday.
