Victor (portrayed by Eddie Osei) was thrown behind bars after a robbery gone wrong.

Since his release, the criminal has worked hard to repair his broken bond with his family, more particularly with his estranged wife Claudette (Flo Wilson).

However, Charles has been less than impressed to see his parents slowly rekindle their romance, firmly convinced his father would end up disappointing his family again.

In scenes airing next week on ITV, he's finally proven right in his suspicions about Victor.

Meanwhile, Charles' partner Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) meets with Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) and offers to return the necklace.

Viewers of the Yorkshire-based program will perhaps remember Jai spotted Manpreet's necklace and recognised it as a family heirloom shouldn't have given away.

The businessman asked his former stepmother to give it back and, despite her reluctance to do so, Manpreet agreed, feeling unsupported by Charles who has remained completely focused on catching his father out.

During their conversation, Jai encourages Manpreet to tell Charles how she is feeling.

Manpreet follows through with this but Charles becomes incandescent with rage when he figures out Victor has heard their row.

When Victor goads him, Charles is left more determined than ever to be rid of his father.

The following day, Charles implores Manpreet to give him another chance - but will she agree to it?

Things take yet another turn when Jai arrives to collect the necklace only to find out it's gone missing.
