The series will again see 16 cooks from around the globe go head-to-head to be crowned best in the world.

And this time they’ll be joined by some exciting special guests.

A production source said: “Emma is such a safe pair of hands she’s a top signing for any channel, but had wonderful chemistry with Fred, and viewers loved their pairing for the first series.

“It was a no-brainer to bring them back for series two.

“Filming will begin soon and continue throughout autumn, with heats taking place in a string of different countries before a grand final in a luxury location.

“Producers have once again worked with travel firm TUI to produce the show, so it works like a glorious two-in-one – a culinary contest with added travel and holiday inspo.”

Bosses are looking for local chefs from all across the world who want to take part in Emma’s world cup of cooking.

They say: “Do you want to show off your cooking skills with the opportunity to travel the world?”

Visit to apply.

It’s another top job for Emma, who is fast becoming the busiest woman on TV.

Last month we saw her host Cooking With The Stars and The Voice Kids.

Let’s hope she has time to laze by the pool while filming The World Cook.

It means fans can look forward to a total of 24 new episodes, all expected to air in the next 18 months.

Filming for the latest batch begins in Greater Manchester later this year.

The Beeb brought it back after the drama enjoyed a resurgence in online viewers during the pandemic.

The episodes from 2006 to 2015 were uploaded to BBC iPlayer.

Adam Thomas and Angela Griffin returned to the show to film the new series, with newcomers including Kym Marsh and Rachel Leskovac.

Waterloo Road’s 13th season is expected to hit our screens soon.

In real life, the actors went public with their relationship in June after meeting on set.

Owen was introduced to Jemma’s famous dad Jason and they headed on two holidays.

But things have since fizzled out.

A source said: “They had great fun together but, long term, decided it’s better to just be friends.

“They are both super- professional, so it won’t change anything at work.”

A NEW property show will see eight aspiring estate agents compete for a dream job with luxury homes mogul Paul Kemsley.

In the first episode of Selling Super Houses, starting on Channel 4 next Tuesday, the agents are challenged to flog an exclusive £20million home.

“I used to give her a lift to work and we bonded over the song and got together. It was very much Britney who brought us together. The relationship was, of course, doomed. Britney’s fault.”

Greg returns with the music quiz tomorrow at 9pm on Sky Max, alongside captains Noel Fielding, Daisy May Cooper and guest Jamali Maddix.
