Big Brother’s first winner Craig Phillips spotted working on construction site just weeks before show reboot
HE became a household name overnight when he appeared on the first ever Big Brother and won.
But these days Craig Phillips, 51, has turned his back on the limelight and is working on a construction site.
The reality star, who owns his own building company, was working alongside a team of builders as they got to work on a job in Liverpool.
Craig looks in great shape and looks much the same apart from starting to turn into a silver fox.
He was working as a builder before finding fame on the show and after winning, he enjoyed huge success as a DIY and home improvement expert for various TV shows.
Speaking a few years ago about this career, Craig said: “The best part of the 20 years I've very pleased to say that I've continuously worked off the back of BB, whether it was working on TV Makeover shows and creating online DIY videos, or when I’ve not been working with the media, I've been buying dozens of houses to renovate and add to my rented portfolio.

“The most recent was our very own ‘dream build’, in which me and Laura my wife, build a super house that I’ve dreamt of building for over 20 years. We managed to just about get it all finished off ready for our first child's arrival in March 2019.”
On the show, Craig won the viewers vote after he confronted Nasty Nick about his note-passing in the BB house.
He famously gave his prize money to his friend with Down's syndrome, Joanne Harris, to pay for her heart and lung transplant.
His appearance comes ahead of the Big Brother reboot, which is launching in October on ITV.
