Bob awkwardly opened up to Eric about his erectile dysfunction

Then in Tuesday's episode, Bob admitted to partner Wendy Posner that he failed to recognise one of the warning signs, which is erectile dysfunction.

Bob blamed that as the reason Wendy had gone on to have an affair with Liam Cavanagh, before telling her they were over for good.

During Wednesday's episode, Bob was visited by his pal Eric Pollard, and he awkwardly opened up about the problem.

He said: "Me and Wendy we er, we haven't had a full relationship in sometime.

"Because of me...I haven't been able to...I mean the spirit has been welling and all that, but my, my trusty sword failed me."

With a chuckle, Eric said: "Can you speak that in English?"

Bob hissed back: "I've got erectile dysfunction. Words that weren't even part of my vocabulary until 24 hours ago now everybody is saying it."

While the subject matter is serious, some Emmerdale viewers couldn't help but chuckle at the way Bob delivered the news.
