Beloved travel series returning to screens after shock axe – but there’s a catch
CELEB chef trio Gordon Ramsay, Gino D'Acampo and Fred Siriex have announced a new series of their popular travel show.
The telly cooks will reunite for the Road Trip food show which will see them travel around Spain in a one-off special believed to have been filmed before Gino quit the series.
Gino announced in March he had quit the show saying it was impossible to continued after a row over contracts.
Gordon, Gino and Fred: Viva España! edition of the show is understood to hit screens in September according to the .
And the award-winning series will hit ITV and ITVX when viewers can watch them take off in search for the best seafood, wine and tapas.
Gordon, Fred and Gino's latest road trip is expected to be a six-part series.
With two more special episodes due to air over the festive period, with 'Gordon, Gino and Fred: Unseen' showing never-before-seen clips from all of their road trips.
Gino told his followers last year his reason to quit came down to the contracts started "to become very complicated and very stressful."
And he said he valued his friendship with Fred and Gordon more than arguments around contracts.
He previously said: “...I decided not to film any more Gordon, Gino and Fred Road trips.

"The reason is very simple – nothing to do with Gordon or Fred, the friendship is very strong.
"It’s just because we can’t get the dates together and sometimes when we do get the dates together sometimes they get changed and it causes a lot of problems for me because I have other stuff that I have to do.
"Personal problems as well because when I have to change things with my family it is very complicated and also because contracts.
"Because contracts start to become very complicated and very stressful, I personally value the friendship with Gordon and Fred so much that I would rather the friendship than arguments with the contract."
And Gordon said back in October when the show was announced: "Here. We. Go. Again!!!!
"VAMOS! Really happy that me and my amigos will once again be on the road together driving across Spain.
"Amazing food, great wine, culture, history and traditions and of course the usual ridiculous annoyances of working with Gino and Fred! Ay dios mío!”
Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment Commissioning for ITV, said: "We can't wait to get back on the road with the viewers’ favourite trio, Gordon, Gino and Fred, for another unmissable culinary adventure.
