EASTENDERS’ Eve Unwin has received a horrifying shock in tonight’s episode.
The former lawyer - who is played by actress Heather Peace in the BBC soap - is heartbroken after being dumped by lover Suki Panesar.
But tonight she decided to jump back into the dating pool and go on a date.
However the entire date was an awkward mess with the woman too nervous to speak to Eve.
And as much as Eve tried to flirt, nothing would get through to the woman, so she called it a day.
“I think we both know this isn’t going anywhere, is it?" she said.

“The truth is that I’m in love and it’s complicated and it hurts. And as cringey as this sounds it really isn’t you - it’s me.
“And seen as though you’ve hardly said two words all evening, I didn’t think you’d be disappointed.
“But have a great life.”
Hearing the rejection the woman suddenly sprang into life, saying: “You can’t go.”

Eve was confused but the woman continued and revealed a shocking secret.
She told Eve: “Because it’s taken me years to find you. And I didn’t know whether I should be doing this but I had to so I’ve been sat here all night trying to find the words I haven’t got.
“You really don’t recognise me? My real name’s Caroline Johnston.
“I’m the woman who was driving when your sister died.”
Eve looked utterly shell-shocked at the reveal - and so are fans.
One wrote: "And so Eve’s backstory commences! This is going to get emotional."
A second said: "Amanda told Eve who she really is, poor Eve."
Another added: "What a shock for Eve, can tell this is going to be an interesting storyline."
