Fans were in awe of his Darcy Bussell roses

Yesterday, Monty shared a series of photos of his glorious garden with his 1.2 million followers.

The first was an overhead shot of his picture-perfect yew tree garden. Each of the cone-shaped trees reach different heights but are perfectly trimmed. They’re surrounded by an equally perfect green hedge and the garden is neatly parted by a grey stone path.

“The yew cones looking sharp after annual trim,” Monty noted alongside his photo.

The impressive yew cones look like something straight out of a royal garden and could even be likened to the gardens at King Charles’ former residence, Highgrove House.

Fans were thrilled to see this beautiful part of Monty’s garden.

“Thank ‘yew’ for sharing Monty!!!” one said, while another fan gushed, “that’s like a dream!”

“I would like to be able to cut my yews in such a perfect way! What‘s the secret?!” a third fan asked.

Mere hours later, the BBC presenter shared another snapshot of his garden, this time taking fans to his “paradise garden” where some lovely colourful flowers were in bloom.

“Rose ‘Darcy Bussell’ having a second flush in the Paradise garden,” Monty explained.

The bright roses immediately caught the attention of his fans.

One said: “Love the idea of Darcy Bussell having a second flush!”

“She is a beauty,” another said of the garden.

A third added, “Love your gardens Mr Don,” while an envious fan commented, “I wish mine would [have a second flush]. Beautiful rose.”

Later on Tuesday, Monty shared another stunning shot of a luscious green garden. He simply captioned the photo “window” to explain where he’d taken it from, while the subject — a vivid green pathway of hedges — was self explanatory.

This also captured the attention of his fans, who loved the framing of the photo.

“It’s like a path inside a secret garden,” one fan gushed.

“Always loved this idea. Brilliantly extends the view to the horizon & encourages a trip to the window to see what is beyond,” another praised.

The Gardeners’ World presenter recently noted on Instagram that he was grateful for the UK’s rainy summer as it has done his garden wonders — and these photos prove it’s now greener than ever!
