Coronation Street fans’ mind blown as they realise staggering truth about Rovers Return on ITV set
AN eagle-eyed Coronation Street fan has been left stunned as they realised a staggering truth about the Rovers Return.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, the fan made reference to a long-standing blunder with the set of the ITV soap.
They were talking about the layout of the Rovers Return Inn pub and its rather odd toilet positioning - and it's bad news for Ken Barlow.
An open-secret among die hard fans, many could be shocked to realise that the toilets of the iconic pub would actually lead directly into Ken Barlow's front room.
The Barlow household is located at 1 Coronation Street, directly beside the boozer.
However for characters needing to use the facilities once the drinks are flowing, they always head to the right-hand side of the bar and enter through a series of doors.

But, in reality, this would be straight into the infamous Barlow living room and kitchen.
The fan wrote online about the glaring error: "You guys ever think about how The Rovers Return toilet would technically lead into Ken Barlow’s living room…"
In response, another fan admitted they had considered it during the show's current story to save the Rovers.
They said: "First thing I thought of when Jenny was talking about the bulldozers knocking down the men's toilets."

Jenny had been left at a crossroads after it seemed that she may have to finally sell up after the Rovers became financially stuck.
Despite it looking likely that Weatherfield's longest business would close, Newton & Ridley agreed to buy it themselves after Henry Newton's personal connection to the pub.
The apparent blunder has never been addressed on-screen.
Despite a mystery indoor alleyway by the side of the Rovers toward the front, this would still not provide anywhere near enough space for the toilet.
Even with all the murders and criminal activities on the cobbles, the biggest mystery of all remains - where are the Rovers loos?
