Emmerdale’s Bob fights for his life in harrowing heart attack scenes as villagers come to blows in the hospital
EMMERDALE'S Bob Hope was left fighting for his life in harrowing heart attack scenes tonight.
The B&B owner - played by Tony Audenshaw - has been struggling in recent weeks following the revelation partner Wendy had been having an affair with the village doctor, Liam Cavanagh.

In tonight's episode, Bob took his anger out on Archie and his football, after the lad kept kicking it into the B&B's grounds.
Bob reached boiling point as he saw Wendy and Liam leaving the GP surgery, not realising that Wendy had just handed in her notice to focus on trying to rebuild her relationship with him.
Bob confronted the pair before punching Liam in the face, before continuing to hurl insults and then chucking Archie's football at Liam's back as he walked away.
But seconds later, Bob clutched his chest and then collapsed to the floor, and despite what had just happened between them, Liam rushed over and recognised straightaway that he was suffering a cardiac arrest.

The GP remained calm as he got Jacob to call 999 and ask for the defibrillator code for the one in the village and request an ambulance, before starting to give Bob CPR.
Jacob retrieved the defibrillator and Emmerdale viewers watched the whole sequence as Liam delivered two charges to Bob's chest in between CPR moves, while a distraught Wendy watched on.
Eventually, Bob started breathing again and he was then rushed to hospital in an ambulance.
At the hospital, a tearful Wendy revealed to Bernice and Brenda that Bob needed a stent put in and was heading for surgery.

But Brenda - who was previously married to Bob - couldn't hide her feelings towards Wendy, and gave her a piece of her mind.
She raged: "You deserve to be in his place, you ruined that man's life, and you say you love him? You have no idea what love is.
"I hope you can live with yourself because you have literally broken his heart."
As Wendy sobbed and the credits rolled, Emmerdale viewers took to X - formerly Twitter - to comment on the dramatic scenes.
One wrote: "Oh no! Poor Bob!"
Another added: "Thank God they've brought Bob back! #Emmerdale. I couldn't face losing him and Rishi this close together...... I may be too emotionally invested in a TV soap."
A third tweeted: "I'm more distressed than Wendy at Bob going into cardiac arrest."
