Spying a squirrel in a tree, he was quick to take aim and shoot it down.

Initially believing that it had managed to escape, later that day he discovered the dead animal by the tree where it lived.

In a shockingly close-up scene, Louis then showed off the squirrel to the camera as he confessed how he had "shot its leg off".

Louie went onto cook the animal and eat every last part of it.

Despite initially leaving the head, Louie was so hungry that he went onto eat its eyeballs and all the meat on its face, leaving nothing but a jaw and a skull.

Proud of his achievements, viewers were left horrified as he said: “I’ve eaten every piece of muscle of that face plus his eyeballs."

Commenting on the scenes online, one viewer wrote: “Yes thank you, we don’t need that in close up."

Another added: “The squirrel eyeball eating though?!”

As a third penned: "The poor squirrel."

Louie went onto confess that he was keen to hunt more animals in a bid to remain on the show the longest.
