ON THE EDGE

Netflix fans warn ‘don’t watch this alone!’ as they’re left ‘sleepless and stressed’ by thriller Witness Number 3

NETFLIX viewers have been left terrified after the Channel 5 dramatic thriller Witness Number 3 makes its debut on the streamer and they urge others not to watch it on their own.

The streamer added to its large collection of dramatic thrillers with Witness Number 3, which originally premiered on Channel 5 last summer.

Recently acquired by Netflix, the series is now reaching a fresh set of viewers, but they’ve issued a stern warning to anyone who wants to watch the drama, which they say will keep them on the edge of their seat.

It has already cracked the streamer’s “Top 10” list.

Witness Number 3 follows Nina Toussaint-White’s character, Jodie, a single mum whose life is changed forever after she witnesses a killer with his victim right before a murder.

She goes to the police about the events she saw, but her identity is kept under wraps and she becomes Witness Number 3.

As Jodie prepares to give evidence, it soon becomes clear that the people who committed the murder will stop at nothing to take her down.

The scared mum wants nothing more than to protect her son, and soon everyone becomes a potential threat. With no one left for her to trust, Jodie takes matters into her own hands and promises to keep him safe, no matter the cost.

Netflix fans were quickly hooked by the series. However, many left feeling “stressed” and “tense” by the series.

“Witness Number 3 is absolutely NO good for my stress levels,” one viewer said on Twitter.

“If you’re watching Witness Number 3 on Netflix, do NOT watch it alone like I have,” another viewer warned.

A third commented at 3 o’clock in the morning: “Wide awake at this time… watching Witness Number 3 on Netflix wasn’t the best idea.”

“Watching a scary drama tonight probably wasn’t the most sensible thing, but it’s edge of seat stuff,” said a fourth Netflix fan.

The series comprises four 45-minute episodes, but just two were enough to rip some Netflix fans’ nerves to shreds.

“Just watched 2 episodes of Witness Number 3, saving the rest for tomorrow. Going to bed and glad I’m not in the house alone, then I hear my partner lock all the doors and double check the windows, which he never ever does. Says it all. Edge of your seat watch,” a fifth viewer commented.

“Need to do a mindfulness meditation or something to calm myself down after watching 2 episodes of Witness Number 2,” warned a sixth.

“Watching Witness Number 3 on Netflix when I should be asleep, I’m gonna get nightmares,” added another viewer, who admitted that the show made them very “tense.”
