The Gardeners' World latest snap saw the two dogs in close up on the grass, looking towards the camera.

Monty captioned it: "Two dogs" however, his die-hard fans wanted to know where his third pooch - Yorkshire Terrier Patti - was.

Patti has failed to appear in any of Monty's pictures lately, and his followers are concerned.

One wrote in the comments section: "Beautiful. Where is the tiny one. Miss seeing her."

Previously fans had asked after Patti following another post from Monty of Ned and Nell.

One noted: "Lovely to see them haven't seen Nell for ages bless her and where is little Pathi ?"

Another follower exclaimed: "It is lovely to see 2 such gorgeous dogs so happy. Do miss Patty."

"Beautiful, but where is Patti?" asked a third.

In 2020 the TV gardening legend previously announced his doggy co-star Nigel had died.

Monty paid a touching tribute to Nigel by sharing a photo of him with Monty's second dog, Nell.

The presenter captioned the post: "Another lovely picture of Nigel and Nell from 2016."

Fans were left in tears at the emotional post and took to the comments section to express their feelings.

Gardeners' World continues tonight at 9pm on BBC Two.
