Calvin Harris leaves Alex Jones squirming with shock swipe at Simon Cowell’s appearance on The One Show

SCOTTISH DJ and singer Calvin Harris rocked The One Show on Thursday night when he made a crack at Simon Cowell’s infamous facelift. 

Calvin, 39, joined host Alex Jones and Roman Kemp on last night’s episode of The One Show to talk about his music career and his appreciation of the legendary Rod Stewart. 

The musician was thrilled by the addition of the show’s fourth guest, celebrity chef judge Monica Galetti, saying: “I’m buzzing man, I’m buzzing. I’m a big fan of MasterChef, a big, big fan.”

The 47-year-old said the feeling was mutual. 

The foursome started out discussing the new season on Monica’s travel programme, Amazing Hotels: Life Beyond the Lobby, which she co-hosts with Rob Rinder. However, the conversation took a turn when Alex, 46, asked Calvin about his weirdest hotel experience. 

Calvin revealed that it was while staying at a hotel in Switzerland. 

“I checked in. I was a little bit hungry, so I looked at the room service menu and it was just full of cosmetic treatments,” he revealed. 

Alex and Roman’s jaws dropped as the musician explained you could order any treatment you wanted. 

“Botox, boob job, eyebrow lift.

“I walked out of there looking like Simon Cowell. It was mad!” the chart-topping artist joked before holding back the skin above his cheeks to mock a facelift. 

“I was only there for two days,” he said. “Insane!”

Calvin’s comments and animated gesture about the Britain’s Got Talent judge shocked the presenters, who burst out laughing. 

While Roman, 30, moved onto a new question directed at Monica, Alex squirmed in her seat and wiped away tears of laughter before rejoining the conversation. 

Simon, 63 previously admitted that he spent £2,000 on a facelift. 

There was a phase where everyone was having their faces pumped full of this and the other,” he told The Sun.

However, he later came to regret it, admitting that his son Eric also made fun of him for it. 

“I saw a picture of me from before the other day, and didn’t recognise it as me first of all. Eric was in hysterics. Enough was enough,” he explained.

“There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero,” he confirmed.
