Strictly star Janette Manrara praises husband Aljaz in adorable photo with their newborn daughter Lyra
STRICTLY Come Dancing star Janette Manrara has praised her husband Aljaz and shared an adorable photo with their newborn daughter, Lyra.
The It Takes Two host, 39, and the professional dancer, 33, thrilled Strictly fans when they shared the happy news on Instagram that they’d welcomed a baby girl at the end of July.
And Janette has since shared an adorable new photo of their daughter, who is named Lyra Rose Skorjanec.
Taking to social media she posted a sweet photo of Aljaz lying on the floor beneath a blanket, next to his newborn daughter.
Little Lyra looked very cosy in her Moses basket as she slept beside her dad, and Janette heaped praise on her beau.
She penned to fans: “This is what I woke up to this morning. My heart melted.

“Aljaz will not leave her side. He is such an incredible father already. Watching him w/ Lyra is so beautiful. It’s so great to see men really taking on being great father’s to their children these days.
“I feel very lucky in this moment to have such an amazing partner. Love you Bučko.”
The couple announced they were expecting their first baby back in March.
Aljaz and Janette were engaged in 2015 and then married on July, 15, 2017.

The pair had an astonishing three weddings in various locations, including Slovenia and Disneyland, when they married in the summer of 2017.
They'd been together for six years before that.
Janette quit her job as a professional dancer on Strictly two years ago so she and Aljaz could try for a baby.
Since then she's been made host of Strictly's spin-off show It Takes Two.
The couple told how they were first planning on starting IVF just before Janette fell pregnant naturally.
