On the show, they were taking a look at wildlife photography and capturing images of different birds in action out in the wild.

However, it seemed that the attention was rather misplaced following a seemingly colourful introduction.

BBC Radio 4 star and regular Countryfile presenter Charlotte Smith was on her way to meet an expert in the field so she could see just how he takes his incredible images.

The man in question was Richard Birchett, a local photographer but fans heard something entirely different.

They were left stunned when Charlotte appeared to use an expletive in Richard's last name.

Charlotte said on the show: "Local professional photographer Richard Birchett has been taking pictures of wildlife during the hay harvest for the last few years."

One fan instantly took to Twitter when they thought Charlotte had said 'Richard Birdsh**'.

Writing online, they penned: "Richard what? I ain’t the only one hearing Richard Birdsh** surely?"
